Commentary

Diploma interpolato. Si segnala in particolare che le località di Andurnum; Mulinariam; Ponderanam; Cisidola; Galianicum sono località confermate a Manfredo del fu Aimone nel 988 per iniziativa dell'imperatrice Teofano (e di cui le corticelle di Andurnum e Mulinariam erano state donate da Ottone I al conte Aimone, insieme con la conferma di altre curtes fra le quali vanno segnalate Alice, Casanova, Roppolo e Cavaglià). Non si possono ritenere genuini i riferimenti alle confische ai danni di Arduino e di Ardicino da parte di Ottone III alla fine del 1000 anche se la ribellione di Ardicino rappresentava un ulteriore passo verso la rottura con l'Impero. E neppure sono genuini i passi relativi alla dispersione dei servi ecclesiastici che si devono far risalire al 1022 e dunque introdotti solo per colpire i servi ministeriali schieratisi con il partito arduinico.
