Commentary
This diploma contains interpolations intended to give authority to other interpolations added in the Chronicon Vulturnense to earlier imperial diplomas. The interpolations to this document were mainly intended to assign the properties in Valle Sorana, San Colomba, San Pietro in Vairano, San Marco in Pietra Cutiliana, San Giovanni in Lucera, Santa Maria di Cinquemilia and San Vincenzo di Tocco, which later came into the possession of the monastery, to a more remote period.
